Mia Alicata: The Event Expert Behind Merry by Mia
Mia has planned and executed events and acted as planner and day-of coordinator for dozens of weddings across the tri-state area and New England including Central Park Boathouse, Brooklyn Botanic Gardens, The Wythe Hotel, Water’s Edge, Audrey’s Farmhouse, Whitby Castle and Saybrook Resort Inn & Marina and many more! Mia and her team are more than willing to travel wherever your event may be.
Mia’s love for event planning started at Manhattanville College having been responsible for student fundraisers, social gatherings and events with staff, faculty, and alumni. She continued her event planning with the LGBT Film Festival of Connecticut and with the Manhattanville Young Alumni Society. She founded Merry by Mia in 2014 because she found such joy in bringing people happiness and order through joyous occasions.
